INDUSTRIAL GRADE LAY FLAT HOSES
Industrial Grade Lay flat hose comes in grey or blue. It is used for water and non-harsh chemicals. It can be ordered in diameters of 1 to 6 inches and comes in 50 ft. rolls. It is time to consider replacing these hoses when you begin to notice dry rot of the hose, it is rubbing through the sidewall, or damage near the fitting where it has been crimped. Some other signs include kinking signaling a weak spot.
JACKHAMMER AIR HOSE
Jackhammer air hose comes in 50 ft. rolls ¾ inch with Chicago fittings on each end. This hose is used for jackhammers, other air tools and equipment. If you notice dry rot of the hose, rubbing through the sidewall, or damage near the fitting where it has been crimped, it is time to replace your hose. Some other signs include kinking signaling a weak spot.
2 WIRE HOSE WEATHERSHIELD RUBBER
2-wire hose with weathershield rubber for the outer layer helps with abrasion. This comes in sizes from ¼ inch up to 1 inch and 3,000 PSI to 6,300 PSI. If you notice dry rot of the hose, rubbing through the sidewall, or damage near the fitting where it has been crimped, it is time to replace your hose. Some other signs include kinking signaling a weak spot. Dry rot can expose the wiring and cause rusted weak spots as well. Riverside Hydraulics can complete same-day custom hose assemblies, using ultraclean sponges, they clean the hose of any contaminants. Also, Riverside suggests wrapping the hose for extra durability with a spiral or sleeve wrap. Finally, Riverside will shrink wrap the ends to ensure no contaminants enter the hose.
